April 28 , 2007. Keyboard for 360 coming soon!

It will be here soon enough. Some smartass, probably Blackberry addicted exec, though it would be a good idea to add a keyboard for the 360. And looking at it, I can see why. It looks Blackberry-like enough. And it fits neatly on the 360 (kinda). But you'll ask yourself, what the hell will I need this thing for? Surfing the web? Because it would be a real challenge without a web browser in the 360

Nope. Apparently this thing is for gaming. Imagine this. You're playing Xbox Live (probably Gears of War), and you want to communicate with your friends. Would you wave your hands infront of your console? No, because your friend is in Europe right now. Microsoft believes you'd use his keyboard and type the commands. And this would make sense, if Xbox Live didn't have voice. So what's this good for? Stealth? For shooters, you're probably too busy shooting to use it. But maybe for online RPGs. Maybe it's the first step in a Warcraft-like game. Considering how much money Warcraft makes, it wouldn't surprise us if Microsoft wants a piece of that online pie and a keyboard would help them get it.
