Sep 8 , 2007. Most Wanted Games List.
We're going to look at the games we most want in this week's blog. Look out for these future titles. They have real potential. Or maybe they don't. In the gaming business, nobody really knows except the QA tester.

The first game we want is definitely Mass Effect. While Mass Effect will probably play alot like Knights of the Old Republic, the game does give you a whole new universe to explore and one amazing looking ship and incredible graphics. It also has an interesting story and hopefully, no corny lines about using the Force. But it does have something called Dark Energy. If there's some weird midget calling you Luke, we're going to lower this game's score by 100.

We love the Master Chief, even if he is as dry as a salted cracker and just as predictable. But Halo 3 will definitely have some great level designs and incredible multiplayer. Of course, there's the cliche dialogue and predictable aliens story to get through. We're hoping there will be more battle royale gunfights between the races to keep the excitement level up in single player.

In October, the 360 will get Beautiful Katamari, which is just a great title with aot of atmosphere and unique gameplay. We don't know who came up with this, but the idea of rolling everything up into a ball is pure genius.

Yes it's a Simpsons game. And yes, it's by EA. A licensed games is bad enough, but one made by EA? That's even worse. But EA did do a good job with the Lord of the Rings and James Bond licenses. And this game lets you walk around Springfield on foot, which has only been done once in Virtual Springfield, which was so long ago.

Project Gotham Racing 4 is very franchisey, but with many strange new cars and tracks. We always loved the racetracks and the handling, even if the idea of winning races to get kudos sounds kinda snobbish.
That's our wish list before Christmas, but who knows if we'll get it cause our wives don't like videogames. But who cares, they cry watching foreign movies about a kid and a piano. You don't see Grand Theft Auto 4 on the list, but it got postponed till next year or until the company stops getting sued. Yet they're planning to release Manhunt 2 soon. Go figure. |
