Dec 8, 2007. Yup, more screens of GTA4.
Look at the light reflecting off the hood of the car Niko's driving. Pretty sweet. The fuzzy dice is a nice touch too. This is probably just a cutscene though.

The shadow of the helicopter against the wall is nice. Notice how the sun shines right at that one spot instead of just everywhere like in previous GTAs.

Now this is detail! The car has working windshield wipers and you can clearly see the result of using them. Also notice how sunlight shines on the side mirror while the rest of the car remains dark. This means there's a ray of light on one spot of the road that part of the car happens to be passing through.

We see more detail in the plastic helmet, which is reflecting a building as Niko drives.

Niko's clothes have a great deal of texturing. Notice how it looks like fabric, not the painted on stuff like in previous GTAs.

And yes, there's a special edition of GTA4 that includes a book, duffel bag, soundtrack, and safe deposit box??? If this box is made in China, it's probably only good for saving nachos.

Rockstar impresses us again with these shots. We just wished they would have released it on time. But we hope that the extra times pays off for GTA4. Better a late game than one of those early release games that are incomplete and filled with bugs like back in the 1990s PC gaming market. |
