BlackSite Area 51 Xbox 360 ReviewHow come them aliens are all ugly and they all want to kill you? Why can't they be hot like in that movie, My Stepmother is an Alien. But we guess then you wouldn't need a big gun to shoot them. Or would you? But you'll definitely need some firepower for the aliens, crazy townspeople, and even crazier soldiers in BlackSite Area 51.

Why are aliens crawling all over Area 51 and the town Area 51 BlackSite Reviewnearby? You'll have to uncover that as you try to find survivors. Although your orders are to clean the area of the alien infestation. You control a small squad, but you'll get more support as you find people who will help you in the town and base. Later on, you'll get more vehicles and more firepower to fight the really big aliens. Although it's just a way to break the monotony of this FPS.

Area 51BlackSite tries to be a little political with dialogue that has comments straight from the President Bush's mouth. Other than that, everything else about the game is textbook. The areas are very generic inside the base, but when you're in the town, it's more interesting. There's plenty of explosions and cool ways to die. The aliens come in the bug-like garden variety and some really giant worm-like creatures. The Reborn (infected soldiers) are very nice. The game is straightforward with an interesting twist in the plot. We won't tell you what the twist is, but it's good for a computer game.

The game uses the Unreal 3 engine so the graphics are Area 51 BlackSitetopnotch. The aliens are especially interesting and very well textured. The explosions are also great, but the soldier chatter when you're fighting is very annoying. The music is adequate, but nothing stands out. The cinematics uses the ingame engine. We especially like the particle effects from the alien weapons. Your weapons are very dull in comparison. The framerate is also low in some areas.

The game features all the multiplayer modes you would expect like deathmatch and capture the flag. You can play as the Reborn, which is very cool, but not many people are playing this game online. The single player takes around 8 hours. The game is fun, but not enough to leave a lasting impression once you play through it once.
