Sell when it's hot. We learned that from some guy who sold us a stereo system from the back of his car. But it's also the EA philosophy. So they took NFL Street and replaced the, uh streets, with stadiums. Then they called it NFL Tour because you travel to different stadiums with your team in hopes of winning. That's it.

But none of the stadiums are that different from each other and they are all imaginary, so they could have done a better job differentiating the stadiums, but didn't. You have seven on seven arcade gameplay. Call a few basic plays, then go for the 10 yard gain or touchdown. There are no field goals and no punts, which is really street style football. But this means the strategy is limited to run and gun, or rush and tackle.

The best way to describe the gameplay is arcade. There's two minigames that stink, exhibition mode, and tour mode. You'll be spending most of your time in tour mode, which is the only excuse to play other teams. You'll spend most of the time pressing the turbo button and trying to break tackles. Games aren't won by points, but by achievements instead like winning from behind. It's the only incentive they could think to keep you playing.

The graphics are acceptable, but nothing you haven't seen in NFL Streets. Seems EA spent all the money in this game on the hip hop ladened soundtrack. You can create custom players, but it's wasted since the action is very arcadey. Everything in this game is very arcadey. It feels like an appetizer to some main course game, which is perfect for some pre-Superbowl excitement.

The game features online rank play, but that's it. Like we said, this is the type of game you would want to play before watching the Superbowl. It's real easy to pick up and get into, but doesn't have enough to last a season or a week. Buy it along with the chicken wings and chips if you want some very short fun, but then the game will end up as a coaster for your beer after the Superbowl is over. A pretty expensive coaster too.
